Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a fantastic work out for both adults and children and can easily be adapted to a schools mini tennis session.

 You don't need any tennis skills and it doesn't matter if the ball never goes in the court!

A typical session involves a warm up with stretches and drills, an aerobic section where you will hit lots of tennis balls, fun tennis games and cool down stretches to finish off.

You can work at your own pace and if you start to get tired you can slow down but its best not to stop. If you keep moving you will burn even more calories!!

Using a heart rate monitor will even motivate you into working that little bit harder when you realise that during a 60 minute session you can possibly burn over 600 calories!

Not bad for having fun!

A school hall is ideal to lay out a cardio circuit with run through ladders, cones, hoops and a mini tennis net allowing you to work with large groups, keeping them motivated with up to date loud music. Children love it!!

Why not give it a try! All you need is to wear comfortable sports kit and trainers. If you don't have a tennis racket then don't worry - we can provide one. Just remember your water bottle!
